Milkshake Font was sketched rather than rendered with the help of a brush or fountain pen that makes this font look authentic, even though Laura used pointed-brush experiments to make sure certain letterforms looked the way they should, and she was carefully avoiding to insert any strange letterforms that would throw off the design by drawing too much attention to them. The result is a thick, strong yet fun typeface. She tried to keep the details to a minimum, and to make sure the thin strokes were not too thin.
